Team of 2, modelled every component except the top surface shell

A full CAD reconstruction of a consumer product, taken on as an exercise in surface and detail modelling, and covering revolved feet, patterned ventilation cutouts, transition rounds carrying continuity around the chassis edges, and extruded lettering, all assembled and rendered in 3ds Max. I modelled every component except the top shell.

The work

A full CAD reconstruction of a consumer product, taken on as an exercise in surface and detail modelling, since the interesting part is not any individual feature and instead how the features carry across a whole assembly. This meant revolved feet, patterned ventilation cutouts, transition rounds on the chassis edges in order to keep the continuity around the corners, and extruded lettering, with the assembly and rendering done in 3ds Max. Here I modelled every component except the top shell, which required surface modelling, however I did the shelling, the revolves and the extrudes on that part as well.
