An assessment of how COBOD retrofits new features onto older 3D construction printers, and an upgrade-kit strategy with projected multi-million DKK savings.

The work

An assessment of how COBOD retrofits new features onto older 3D construction printers. Found that the absence of retrofit guidelines combined with rapid feature release had produced a proliferation of printer configurations, and proposed an upgrade-kit strategy with projected multi-million DKK savings.

What I owned

I facilitated the innovation process for the less experienced members of the team, and jointly managed the stakeholder interviews.
