- Team of 6, first prototype UI, usability testing and the pitch
Four iterations from lean canvas and user story map through storyboarding to a tested prototype, measured against explicit targets, where account setup came in at 21 seconds against a 30-second target, wrong clicks at 0.67 against a target under 2, and first impression at 4.34 out of 5 against a target of 4.
The work
The project ran through four iterations, starting from a lean canvas and a user story map, then storyboarding the account setup journey, and finally building and testing a clickable prototype. Here the useful part was setting the UX targets before the testing rather than after, since this means that a result either meets the target or it does not, and there is no room afterwards to decide that 25 seconds was acceptable all along.
What I did
I designed the first prototype UI, ran the usability testing and delivered the pitch, and I contributed to the idea jointly with my teammates, while also working to a lesser degree on the later interfaces.
